On the 20th of November I flew to Metlakatla on a Beaver Float plan and returned on a OTTER. What a great plane ride. Me and our Lion's President Chere hopped over to the federal Indian reservation to Annette Island to conduct eye screenings for pre-school age children. It's a great cause because our club's main focus is to prevent blindness and early discovery and detection of eye disease in young children.
Our club's next service project will be to send soldier care boxes to the troops overseas in January. On another note: Our son Bryan will be going back to Iraq in January for another 7 month tour of duty. God bless.
