A Long Journey

So far I have been away from my family for nearly a month with only a day between stops. My journey has taken me to New London Ct, Sacramento and Fresno California, Sitka, Anchorage, Aniak and now Homer Alaska. I miss my family very much and will be reunited with them on the 27th of September. Most of my travels were business related with a one week lay over in Aniak to visit with my inlaws Dave and Ginny. I did a little fishing on the side, but mostly to visit with them. I have a greater appreciation and respect for those that live out in the bush community on the Koskokuim River. They are so far from technology and the conveniences of life; that I continue to reflect and make sure I do not take for granted the great things we have in life. Words of wisdom: Don't take life for granted. Look for ways to serve people in our communities that have less then we do.
